1. The Luzon-wide Community Quarantine has forced many bank branches to close down. In light of this the OVCA issues this advisory for UPD employees.
For Landbank of the Philippines (LBP) account holders:
The UP Campus Branch is currently closed. Resumption of services is dependent on the declaration of the national government.
The following LBP branches are, however, still open for check encashments and deposits:
Quezon City Circle
Cubao
West Avenue
East Avenue
For Philippine Veterans Bank (PVB) account holders:
PVB UP Branch (at the Bahay ng Alumni) will be open only until April 3, 9 am to 1 pm.
The Antipolo, Marikina and Camp Aguinaldo branches will be open daily from 9 am to 1 pm but will only entertain ATM and deposit transactions.
For Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) account holders:
The DBP Philcoa branch is still open daily from 9 am to 12 noon but will only entertain ATM and deposit transactions.
Please note that all of these banks are enforcing social distancing and only a limited number of people may enter the branch at a time. Please bring 2 VALID IDs for check encashment transactions.
2. Because the Diliman Cash Office is operating on a skeleton workforce, the following guidelines are enforced:
Check releasing is from 9 am to 2 pm only for all UPD faculty, lecturers, professor emeriti, employees, students, job order workers and non-UP contractuals.
No mask (surgical, n95, cloth), no entry. Only two (2) people at a time are allowed and social distancing is strictly implemented.
