For three consecutive Saturdays —June 7, 14, and 21—the Philippine Association of University Women-UP Chapter, UP Resilience Institute, and the Philippine Native Tree Enthusiasts distributed seeds of native trees to the public.
The activity, held in UP Diliman, also featured the sale of seedlings and books. A fourth installment is scheduled soon, where free native tree seeds will again be distributed, and seedlings and books will be available for purchase.

Native tree seedlings offered at minimal cost included ipil, mabolo, malubago, siar, putat, molave, bani, kayumanis, pamitoyen, balitbitan, leea, narra, kalumpit, and bagawak morado.
Meanwhile, books for sale in the event included Alay: Philippine Native Trees at the Victor O. Ramos Arboretum, A Naturalist Guide to Birds of the Philippines, and A Naturalist Guide to Butterflies of the Philippines.—With a report from Philippine Association of University Women-UP Chapter
