The UP Diliman Asian Center will launch the book of Norifumi Daito, PhD “Sugar and the Indian Ocean World: Trade and Consumption in the Eighteenth-Century Persian Gulf” and hold a discussion on June 26, Wednesday, at 2 p.m. via Zoom.

Daito is an assistant professor at the University of Tokyo, Japan.
