The book “Sincronías Barrocas (Siglos XVI-XVIII): Agentes, Textos y Objetos Entre Iberoamérica, Asia y Europa” will be launched on Aug. 17, Saturday, from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m., via Zoom.

The resource speakers are Kristyl Obispado, PhD, an associate professor at UP Diliman Department of History (DHist) and co-editor of the book, and Carolina Rocha Da Cunha, PhD of Escola Nacional de Administração Pública – Brasil, one of the authors of the book.

This is the highlight of the seventh episode of “La Historia Olvidada: Filipinas-Mexico 2024,” a virtual colloquium series on Philippine-Mexico relations.

The event is organized by the Embassy of the Philippines in Mexico, in partnership with DHist, El Colegio de San Luis, and the Philippine-Mexico Studies Program of the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico.
