Baes is a professor at the UP Diliman (UPD) College of Music (CMu).
The event is organized by the UP System Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Goethe Institut-Philippinen, UPD Office of the Chancellor, UPD Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Development, in cooperation with the UP Press, together with the UPD Center for Ethnomusicology and the CMu.
