In celebration of Italian filmmaker Pier Paolo Pasolini’s 100th birth anniversary, the UP Film Institute (UPFI) will hold its first outdoor screening in front of the UPFI Film Center Cine Adarna on Saturday, May 21, at 5 p.m. featuring Pasolini’s 1961 film “Accattone.”
This is presented by the UPFI, with the financial support of the Embassy of Italy in Manila and in partnership with the Philippine Italian Association.
The outdoor screening will be preceded by UPFI professor Nick Deocampo’s lecture “Poetic Conversation: Pasolini and Me. A Shared Moment in Film and Poetry.”
The event is free and open to the public on a first come, first served basis.
