DCO employee positive for SARS-CoV-2

(AUG. 7)—The UP Diliman Cash Office (DCO) will be closed from Aug. 10-14 after a member of its skeleton work force tested positive for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 or SARS-CoV-2, the virus responsible for COVID-19.

In an advisory DCO issued on Aug. 7, DCO said all those who had close physical contact with the concerned staff have been informed.  Meanwhile, all DCO personnel will undergo RT-PCR testing and will isolate themselves until the results are released.

DCO will resume operations on Aug. 17. Leave Monetization will be processed and released that same day.

The DCO will continue to address urgent concerns during the closure period. Inquiries and clarifications may be sent through their Facebook page (UPD Cash Office) or through email.

“We sincerely apologize for the very short notice but we are constrained to act immediately for the protection and safety of our staff, clientele and the general community. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult period,” said DCO Director Celeste P. Mamaril.
