The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Development (OVCRD) cordially invites
you to SALIKSIKHAY: Pananaliksik sa Panahon ng Pandemya, a webinar on conducting
and sustaining research during the COVID-19 pandemic, on February 26, 1-3 pm. UP
Diliman faculty and scholars will discuss how the pandemic has transformed their research and
how they are able to persevere in their work in the face of unprecedented constraints and
challenges. The webinar aims to generate discussion on how researchers are reimagining their
projects, methods, and practices in light of the ongoing global health emergency.
The speakers are: Maricor N. Soriano, Ph.D. (National Institute of Physics), Ramon G.
Guillermo, Ph.D. (Center for International Studies), Deo Florence L. Onda, Ph.D. (Marine
Science Institute), Noriel Christopher C. Tiglao, Ph.D. (National College of Public
Administration and Governance), and Nathalie Lourdes Africa-Verceles, DSD (Center for
Women’s and Gender Studies). Presentations will be followed by an open forum.
The event is a special edition of SALIKSIKHAY, an OVCRD series showcasing the research,
creative, and extension work of UP Diliman faculty, researchers, staff, and students.
