(JUL. 30) — The second of the three webinar series, “Changes in Hospitality Management and Research” is set on Aug. 6, 10 a.m. (Manila Time).
The second installment (registration link: tiny.cc/DHRIMWebinar2.) touches and examines the unfamiliarity and uncertainty in doing research in hospitality management.
Prof. Chris Ryan of the University of Waikato, New Zealand, will share his insights on Big Data and resilience in the hospitality industry. An Emeritus Editor of Tourism Management Journal, Ryan has over 220 refereed journal publications and is the current editor of “Tourism Critiques: Practice and Theory.” He is noted as being in the top 1 percent of global researchers according to a report published in “Plos One.”
The webinar is organized by the Department of Hotel, Restaurant and Institution Management, UP Diliman College of Home Economics.
