UPD Chancellor Sergio S. Cao (second from the left), together with UP College of Fine Arts (CFA) dean Professor Florentina P. Colayco, signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with the TBWA Santiago Mangada Puno (TBWA\SMP), a well-known advertising agency in the Philippines, on February 3 as one of the CFA’s industry partner. TBWA\SMP was represented by its managing partners Melvin Mangada and Jimmy Santiago.
The advertising agency has offered CFA support for student scholarships, thesis grants, internships as well as sponsorship of academic forums with lectures, discussions and workshops involving trends, issues and new directions in advertising and new media.
