SeoulTech President visits UPD

Delegates from the Seoul National University of Science and Technology (SeoulTech) led by President Jun-hyong Rho met with UPD officials, led by Chancellor Sergio S. Cao.

In a brief meeting at the College of Business Administration, representatives of both institutions discussed the possibility of student and faculty exchanges between the UPD and SeoulTech. This is part of the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding between the two universities which was signed in April 2010 during the Chancellor’s visit to SeoulTech in Seoul, Korea.

The SeoulTeach president was accompanied by Choon-geun Rhew, International Exchanges dean, Dr. Byong-gyu Park, Architecture Department professor and Soo-il Kwon, Office of the President Head Secretary.

Representatives from UPD include Dr. Ma. Crisanta Flores, Office of Extension Coordination Director and Candido A. Cabrido Jr., School of Urban and Regional Planning (SURP) dean, together with the SURP professors Dr. David Yap, Jed Gomez, Mark Morales, Dr. Marideth R. Bravo and Dr. Mario R. Delos Reyes.

A campus tour was arranged by the UPD Information Office staff for the SeoulTech delegation after the courtesy call.
