The university portal at Magsaysay Street corner Katipunan Avenue will open on Monday, December 6, the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Community Affairs (OVCCA) announced in a memorandum dated November 26.
The gates shall be open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
The portal however, shall be accessible only to vehicles with UP car stickers and/or UP students, faculty and staff with valid UP identification cards. According to the OVCCA, the restricted access is “in line with the university’s efforts to provide a safe and secured environment for its constituents.”
According to the OVCCA memo, Katipunan PUJs shall resume their regular route on December 6, while the gate at Schuster Street shall be closed to traffic on the said date.
