Korea University of Technology and Education (KUT) through their president Dr. Un-ki Jeon and the University of the Philippines-Diliman (UPD) through Chancellor Sergio S. Cao signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for student exchanges at the Board of Regents Room on January 10.

The KUT president was accompanied by Professor Jeong Shick Yoon, Office of External Cooperation dean, and Jungho Kwon, Office of Finance and Management deputy manager.

Representatives from UPD included Dr. Lorna I. Paredes, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ma. Crisanta N. Flores, Office of Extension Coordination director, Dr. Aura Matias, College of Engineering (CoE) dean, Dr. Adelaida Lucero, Department of English and Comparative Literature (DECL) chairperson, Dr. Ma. Milagros Laurel and Dr. Rosalina Bumatay-Cruz, DECL-College of Arts and Letters professors.

A campus tour was arranged by the UPD Information Office staff and the CoE Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering for the KUT delegates after the MOU signing.
