Dr. Caesar A. Saloma, Dr. Amelia P. Guevarra and Dr. Esperanza A. Cabral are the featured experts at the College of Home Economics’ (CHE) seminar “Research, Reproductive Health and the Filipino Familya” slated for November 12.
Saloma, dean of the College of Science, will talk on Research Mentors and Mentoring; Guevarra, UP Vice President for Academic Affairs, on The UP Scientific Productivity System while Cabral, former Secretary of the Department of Health, will discuss The Reproductive Health Bill and Implications for Research. Dr. Cecilia A. Florencio University Professor Emeritus and former CHE dean, will give a brief background of the disciple in the talk “Learning from our Past, Directing our Future (Part 1).
The seminar is part of activities marking the CHE’s 89th anniversary and will be held at the Tea Room starting 8:30 a.m.
