To the Members of the UP Community and the Public
I was recently informed that there is a Facebook account that was set up using the name, “Chancelor Sergio Cao.”
May I advise the public of the following:
1. I did not create, nor authorize the creation of this account. I do not have any account in Facebook or in any other social networking website; any accounts using my name are unauthorized. Please do not add these accounts as friends or contacts.
2. Any and all statements issued through such unauthorized Facebook account(s) are unofficial, do not emanate from me and should not be relied upon.
I request the creator and/or administrator of the unauthorized Facebook account to please cease from publishing information regarding me and to disable said account.
We are currently seeking ways to remedy this situation. You can help by reporting this account as an “impostor account” and taking the steps outlined at http://www.facebook.com/help/?faq=14240.
