(October 9)— Chancellor Caesar A. Saloma hosted a victory dinner for the UP Varsity Pep Squad on October 5 at the University Theater Lobby.

The Office of the Chancellor in cooperation with the UP Diliman Information Office (UPDIO)  and College of Human Kinetics (CHK) organized the dinner in celebration of the Pep Squad’s victory at the UAAP Cheerdance Competition (CDC) held last September 22 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Aside from winning the 8th CDC title, the Pep Squad garnered their second three-peat. The last time they won for three consecutive years was from 1999 to 2001.  Furthermore, the team also dominated the Samsung Group Stunts competition while cheerdancer Nicolette Erika Arambulo was chosen as the 2012 Samsung Stunner.
