SLIS dominates librarian licensures

(November 21)—The School of Library and Information Studies (SLIS) dominated the latest Librarian Licensure Examinations, taking seven of the top ten slots including the top notch, and becoming the top performing school for the examination period.

Top honors went to Brian Lloyd Baello Dayrit, who garnered a score of 87.55 percent, while Frances Elaine Lirio Lowe snatched third place with 86.90 percent.

They are followed by Louise Kaye Gudmalin Mendoza (6th place with 85.95%), Aaron Paul Laurente Madriñan (7th place with 85.75%), Jerik-James Esquivias Dionela (8th place with 85.70%), Karis Dawn Manalo Salinas (9th place with 85.50%) and Noel Salvador Bernardo Casimiro (10th place with 85.45%).

SLIS also became the top-performing school with all 27 of its takers passing the examinations, which were held in November 4 and 5.—AKR with reports from PRC website.
